About the 1.6T Reach Truck
The 1.6T electric reach truck is the standard workhorse for commercial high-bay warehousing. Its pantograph reach mechanism extends the forks into the racking while the body stays in the aisle, allowing narrow-aisle operation at heights up to 10m — covering most commercial pallet racking configurations without requiring a VNA truck. The lead-acid battery suits single-shift operations where there is overnight time available for a full charge cycle.
This machine is the right choice when loads are standard pallet weight (up to 1,600kg), racking runs to 8–10m, and the operation runs one shift per day. Sites with tighter budgets or less intensive throughput benefit from the lower running cost of lead-acid versus lithium, provided charging time can be scheduled around production.
