About the 2.5T Container Mast Forklift (Lithium)
The 2.5T lithium container mast forklift is built around one specific operational requirement: working inside and around standard shipping containers. The container mast has a reduced collapsed height that allows the machine to drive directly into a 20ft or 40ft container without the mast fouling on the container door frame — a capability a standard counterbalance forklift cannot match. With a 2,500kg rated capacity and a 4.8m available lift height, this machine handles most palletised and break-bulk loads encountered in container operations, from bagged goods and FMCG cartons through to machinery and industrial components loaded on timber pallets.
The lithium-ion drivetrain replaces the conventional lead-acid battery system, which brings two meaningful operational advantages over the equivalent electric model: opportunity charging between shifts without memory degradation, and the elimination of battery watering and equalisation maintenance. For operations running two or more shifts, or where the machine is used intensively across a single shift with top-up charges during breaks, lithium power extends productive uptime and reduces running costs. The machine produces zero tailpipe emissions, making it suitable for use inside warehouses, sealed sheds, and enclosed loading areas where LPG or diesel exhaust would create a ventilation problem.
