About the 2.5T Electric Counterbalance Forklift
The 2.5T electric counterbalance forklift is the most widely hired mid-range electric forklift in Australian warehousing — covering the full range of standard pallet loads with a generous safety margin and working reliably in any indoor or semi-enclosed environment. It handles the same load range as a 2.5T LPG or diesel machine but without tailpipe emissions, making it the natural choice for food manufacturing, cold storage, pharmaceutical distribution, and any facility where combustion engines are prohibited or undesirable. With a standard lift height of 3,300mm (options to 7,000mm with triplex mast) and 2,500kg rated capacity, it covers the vast majority of standard warehouse and logistics tasks without machine changes or capacity limitations.
AC electric drive delivers smooth, consistent performance regardless of battery state, and the 80V lead-acid battery system provides a full shift's operation under standard warehouse workloads. The 4-wheel layout gives a stable, predictable counterbalance platform suited to operators who move between different machines — there are no handling surprises, and the seat is positioned for good forward and mast visibility. Servicing is low-overhead: no engine oil, no exhaust system, no fuel filtering. The primary maintenance items are battery watering and periodic drive system checks, both of which are handled as part of a GAH long-term hire agreement.
