About the 2T Articulated Narrow Aisle Forklift
The 2T articulated narrow aisle forklift is built for warehouses where racking aisles are too tight for a standard counterbalance machine. The articulating chassis allows the forks to rotate left and right relative to the drive unit, so the machine can pull into an aisle straight on and deposit or retrieve a pallet from either side without needing to turn. With a 1,960mm turning radius and a compact 1,265mm body width, it can operate productively in aisles that would stop a conventional forklift — making it a practical alternative to a reach truck in facilities that handle a mix of indoor racking and open floor work.
At 2,000kg rated capacity and a standard lift height of 3,000mm (with mast options reaching up to 6,500mm), this machine covers the majority of general warehousing pallet loads. The dual AC drive motors deliver a laden travel speed of 17km/h, keeping throughput up on longer runs between pick faces. The 80V battery system pairs with either a 420Ah lead-acid pack for high-utilisation single-shift operations or a 271Ah lithium-ion option for sites that need opportunity charging or reduced battery maintenance.
Key Features
- Articulating chassis — forks rotate independently of the drive unit, enabling direct racking access from a straight approach in aisles under 2m wide
- Dual AC drive motors (2 × 8.0kW) — regenerative braking and smooth directional control reduce tyre wear and operator fatigue on long shifts
- Lead-acid or lithium-ion battery options — 80V/420Ah lead-acid for standard single-shift use; 271Ah Li-Ion for opportunity charging, faster recharge, and lower ongoing maintenance
- Mast flexibility — standard 2-stage wide-view mast at 3,000mm lift height, with options available up to 6,500mm to suit high-bay racking configurations
