The 3.5T rough terrain forklift is the right machine when a standard warehouse forklift simply won't cope with the ground conditions. Built on large pneumatic tyres with a high ground clearance of 270mm, it handles compacted gravel, grass, mud, and the uneven surfaces common on construction sites, rural properties, and outdoor storage yards. The Yanmar 4TNE98 diesel engine delivers consistent power across the load range, and with a gradeability of 22% laden, it holds its own on ramps and sloped sites where other forklifts would struggle. At 3,500kg capacity it can move substantial building materials, equipment, and palletised goods in a single lift.
Two-wheel drive is well suited to sites where traction demands are moderate — firm compacted ground, hardstand areas, and sites where weight and turning clearance matter as much as grip. The 2WD configuration keeps the machine lighter and more manoeuvrable than its 4WD counterpart, with a tighter turning radius and faster travel speeds that reduce cycle times on larger sites. A wide-view duplex mast provides good visibility to the forks at height, and a 10/12-degree tilt range helps operators seat loads securely before travelling.
