About the 3T Container Mast Forklift (Electric)
The Hangcha 3T Electric Container Mast Forklift (CPD30-AC4-DM) is built for operations that need a capable, zero-emission machine that can work directly inside standard 20ft and 40ft shipping containers. The defining feature is the low-profile collapsed mast height, which allows the forklift to enter containers without obstruction — essential for direct container loading and unloading where an overhead clearance restriction would stop a conventional forklift in its tracks. At 3,000 kg rated capacity, this is the largest standard electric container mast unit in the hire range, covering bulk freight, heavy palletised goods, and heavy import/export applications that exceed the capability of the 1.8T or 2.5T variants.
The AC dual-drive motor system (2x 8.0 kW) delivers responsive travel and good gradeability while maintaining the efficiency advantages of electric operation — no exhaust emissions, lower running noise, and suitability for enclosed warehousing environments such as cold-store facilities, food manufacturing plants, and covered loading docks where diesel or LPG would not be appropriate. The 80V / 500Ah lead-acid battery provides a full working shift on a single charge under typical operating conditions. The standard 4,800 mm lift height covers the majority of racking configurations in warehouse and distribution environments, and the mast is available in configurations up to 6,500 mm for taller racking installations.
Key Features
- Container-entry mast — low collapsed mast profile allows the machine to operate directly inside standard ISO shipping containers (20ft and 40ft), enabling direct devanning and loading without the need for a dock or ramp
- AC dual-drive system — twin 8.0 kW AC drive motors deliver consistent travel performance and smooth regenerative braking, which returns energy to the battery during deceleration and extends runtime per charge
- Zero-emission electric operation — suitable for fully enclosed environments including cold-store facilities, food production areas, and covered loading docks where internal combustion engines are not permitted
- Wide-view mast design — the 2-stage wide-view mast profile maximises the operator's sightlines to the load and the aisle, reducing the risk of obstruction-related incidents when working in tight or congested areas
